About Us
NeoPocusCollab is driven by the interests and involvement of our incredible community of passionate neonatal providers, nurses, educators, and lifelong learners. We are a new national collaborative with the goals of helping expand the use of point of care ultrasound (POCUS) throughout Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU).

Education
Develop and implement educational content and curricula for venues related to POCUS, including creation of a national curriculum for POCUS training to neonatal fellows. Responsible for monthly Office Hours and NPC Webinars.


Guidelines
Oversee the national recommendations for the development Neonatal POCUS guidelines including standardized scanning protocol, techniques and views.
Research
Develop the Neonatal POCUS Collaborative research program, including surveys, QI projects, and using the CHND as a registry source to determine changes in clinical practice/outcomes with integration of POCUS in clinical practice.


Program Development & Credentialing
Outline steps for program development including image archiving mechanisms, documentation, machine acquisition, billing mechanisms, and QA processes.
Communications
Develop, implement, and maintain a Neonatal POCUS Collaborative presence on the internet and social media.
