The deadline for submitting applications has been extended for both open positions in our leadership, for a position on the Executive Council and a separate position as Co-Director of our Research Committee, to December 22nd! This change reflects our commitment to ensuring a broad search and fair selection process. If you were planning to apply or know someone interested, please reach out to Yogen Singh (ygsingh@health.ucdavis.edu).
Position Expectations
The Executive Council provides strategic leadership to advance point-of-care ultrasound education, research, and clinical excellence in neonatal-perinatal medicine. Council members guide organizational priorities, oversee cross-institutional and cross-committee initiatives, and support the development of national standards and resources. This role helps shape the Collaborative’s vision and fosters partnerships that elevate neonatal POCUS practice across the country.
The co-chair for the Research Committee will organize and chair monthly meetings and help initiate, but not necessarily lead, multi-center research initiatives. The role involves supporting the standardization of protocols, facilitating collaboration across NICUs, and providing guidance with IRB and regulatory processes. Candidates should demonstrate strong organizational skills, research experience, and the ability to unite diverse teams around impactful projects.
How to Apply
Candidates are asked to submit a Letter of Intention outlining:
Why you wish to join the Executive Board Committee or the Research Committee
Your relevant experience and background
What strengths and perspective you hope to bring to the collaborative
Please submit your letter to Dr. Yogen Singh by December 22nd, 2025.
Thank you for your interest and participation!
Maky Fraga, MD
NeoPocus Collaborative Chair
